The Niagara Falls Comedy Fest presents the 2nd Annual Komedy for Kidneys Show on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Greg Frewin Theatre.
The two-hour show is guaranteed to make you laugh so hard, you’ll pee your pants…that’s why we’ve added a short intermission…we can’t afford the cleaning bill.
The evening will be hosted by Mark Matthews and feature some of Canada’s top comedians including Johnny Gardhouse, Paul Haywood, Dave Hudson, Terry McGurrin, Nikki Payne, Winston Spear, Mark Walker and Pete Zedlacher.
The charity event was recently renamed in memory of comedian, Rodney Pentland, who past away earlier this year due to complications related to kidney disease. Rodney, who grew up in Niagara Falls, continued to entertain crowds despite his long battle with the disease; he was best known for his outstanding impressions of Robert DeNiro and Bill Cosby. Event proceeds are being donated to benefit the construction of a new Kidney Dialysis Centre in Niagara Falls.
Doors open at 7 PM and the show at 8 PM. Tickets are $29.00 (plus applicable taxes/service fees) and may be purchased from the Greg Frewin Theatre at 905 356-0777 (local), 1-866-779-8778, tickets@gregfrewintheatre.com, online at www.gregfrewintheatre.com or in person (5781 Ellen Ave., Niagara Falls, ON). A buffet dinner option begins at 6:30 PM.
