Sparkle Lighting Awards 2016

The Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights hosts the annual Sparkling Lighting Awards, presented by CogecoTV Niagara.

The Sparkle Lighting Awards is an illumination competition that recognizes the best residential and commercial property holiday light displays in Niagara Falls.
Our panel of judges look at overall appearance, attractiveness, creative illumination and color coordination to rate the light displays. The properties are being judged in one of three categories: Residential, Commercial and Multi-Residential. We invite all residents and businesses within the city of Niagara Falls to take part in this exciting community event!

The Sparkle Lighting Nominations open on Friday December 1st, 2017 and close at midnight on Sunday December 10th, 2017. The Sparkle Lighting Awards Judging night takes place on Wednesday, December 13th. Be sure to have your Christmas lights on that night starting from 5PM to 11PM.
Visit our website for more information and to place your nomination:

We announce the winners on Friday December 15th.  Be sure to check our website and our Facebook page for the complete list of winners!

The next rules and regulations apply if you would like to cast your nomination for the best lit house:

  3. Lights must be on from 5:00 pm until 11:00 pm on night of judging to qualify.
