[ Back to Media ] Loretta Lynn, The Gatlin Brothers and Ronnie Prophet to Perform in Niagara Falls Niagara Falls, ON – The Winter Festival of Lights is pleased to announce that country music legend, Loretta Lynn, will perform November 28th and 29th at the Niagara Falls Memorial Arena as part of the Winter Festival of Lights Christmas Concerts at the Arena Series. Loretta Lynn may have been born a coal miner’s daughter but today she is a living legend of country music. In the course of her solo and duet career spanning four decades, Loretta has written over 160 songs, released 70 albums, and has recorded 17 #1 albums and 16 #1 singles on the country charts. She has won dozens of awards including four Grammy Awards, seven American Music Awards, eight Broadcast Music Incorporated Awards, and 10 Academy of Country Music Awards. In 1972, Loretta was the first woman named Entertainer of the Year by the Country Music Association and is one of five women to have received CMA's highest award. From her signature song Coal Miner’s Daughter to her newest release, Van Lear Rose, Loretta’s music continues to captivate audiences, attracting a new generation of fans.
