Candy Cane Lane 5k Race & Fun Run

Join us on November 23, 2008 for the 4th Annual Candy Cane Lane 5k Race & Fun Run!


The 5k Race is a competitive run that begins at the Best Western Cairn Croft Hotel and travels in a loop along Lundy’s Lane (aka Candy Cane Lane) and surrounding streets, returning to the Best Western. Medals are awarded to the top male and female finishers in various age categories, while the top overall male and female runners will receive a $250 cash prize. Entry Fee is $25.

The Fun Run allows families, friends and neighbours to participate in a non-competitive fashion. You are encouraged to participate with creative ways to make the run fun, i.e. costumes, team themes, etc. Fun Runners may walk, run, bring strollers and dogs, use sleighs or skis. The goal is to have fun while enjoying an outdoor activity and raising pledges for Project S.H.A.R.E. Fun Run Entry Fee is $10 or $25 for a group of four (4).

Those that secure $50 in pledges for Project S.H.A.R.E. will receive a WFOL scarf while $100 in pledges will get you a WFOL scarf and an Americana Resort Waves Waterpark pass.

Every 5k and Fun Run participant receives a long-sleeve t-shirt.

Registration begins at 9:30 am.

Award presentations, music and children’s activities will take place at the Post Run Luncheon.
