Spring in Bloom Concerts

Live Musical Performance Niagara Falls attraction Mickey Gilley
About Mickey Gilley
Mickey's 39 hit songs --- of which 17 went to the top of the country charts --- have made him the legend he is today.

His top-rated, award-winning eight piece band, which includes Joey Riley, three horn players and two excellent backup singers, jumps right in as Mickey takes his audience through a musical medley of his string of #1 hits.

Always the showman, Mickey proves he's every bit the storyteller as he recounts his days of growing up in Ferriday, Louisiana and the adventures he shared with his cousins and fellow keyboard-players, Rocker Jerry Lee Lewis and Televangelist Jimmy Swaggart. The fact he's most proud of is having a street named after him in Ferriday before his famous cousins did.

His numerous hits include: Room Full of Roses; I Overlooked an Orchid; Don't the Girls All Get Prettier at Closing Time; Stand By Me; You Don't Know Me; Honky Tonk Memories; Here Comes the Hurt Again; and I'm the One Mama Warned You About.

Mickey has guest-starred on numerous popular television series including Murder She Wrote, The Fall Guy, Fantasy Island and The Dukes of Hazzard.  He is among the select few country singers who have been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Gilley performs at the Spring in Bloom Concerts on May 1st (7:30 pm) and May 2nd (2:00 pm).
