The Fallsview Boulevard Entertainment District hosts many of the OPG Winter Festival of Lights most exciting illuminations and events!
Prismatica, an illuminated art exhibit, will be a new feature for the 35th Season of the Winter Festival of Lights. Prismatica is a field of twenty-five colourful prisms that pivot on their base, on display for a limited time – November 18 to December 16 only – at the Scotiabank Convention Centre,
Fallsview Sound & Light Show
The new Fallsview Sound & Light Show will mesmerize spectators. It uses visual effects with a kaleidoscope of colour and texture treatments, visual transitions, with the addition of dynamic music and sound. The city-facing side of the Oakes Hotel will serve as the canvas for the Festival’s innovative projection lighting technology!
Skylon Tower Illumination
In partnership with the Fallsview Tourist District and the Yerich Family, we are pleased to illuminate Niagara’s iconic tower – the Skylon Tower. Using the latest lighting technologies, the Skylon Tower is illuminated using 12 RGB wash fixtures and projectors along with 3 image projectors creating a fantastic nightly lighting spectacle.
Countless hours of logistical planning and programming, led by Spectral LV Lighting Systems, have gone into developing the new computerized light show for Niagara’s iconic 520 foot tall Skylon Tower.
Fallsview District Crosswalks
The Fallsview Tourist District also includes spectacular illumination of the two pedestrian crosswalks leading to and from the Fallsview Casino Resort. Also, stunning lamp post illuminations can be found along Fallsview Boulevard and Stanley Avenue. Murray Hill, aka Snowflake Hill, is illuminated with gorgeous lamp post snowflake displays leading you into the Niagara Parks Winter Wonderland.
The Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights is celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday with a new illuminated display on Fallsview Boulevard by the DoubleTree Resort & Spa.
