Within the Niagara Parks Winter Wonderland illumination area, visitors will see displays that offer a snapshot of Life in Niagara. These feature the award-winning, Niagara grape and wine industry, historic 1812 battles as well as a variety of winter activities such as skating, skiing and ice hockey.
The Niagara Parks Winter Wonderland also includes the world’s largest illuminated Canadian-American Flag and the spectacular Zimmerman Fountain display. Standing at over 30’, the Canadian-American Flag was created to celebrate the nearly 200 years of uninterrupted friendship between our two great nations, while the Zimmerman Fountain display is two stories high and over 40 feet wide; and its animation gives the effect of a cascading waterfall in brilliant blue and white LED lights.

This year, the Niagara Parks Commission has added new and exciting attractions to the illuminations found within Winter Wonderland.
The centerpiece of this winter showcase is the Victorian Candy Land at Queen Victoria Place with its vintage winter carousel overlooking the Falls, placed amid a glistening display of seasonal décor prepared by the Niagara Parks garden design team. Families will also have a chance to make their own s’mores over an open fire.
A whimsical Snowflake Honour Guard will oversee your way across the “Bridge of Flowers” pedestrian bridge to nearby Table Rock, which is being transformed into an elegant Ice Castle complete with a tall white Christmas tree decorated with white and blue effects.
Within the Ice Castle remain the great Niagara Parks attractions Journey Behind the Falls and Niagara’s Fury. Use the Niagara Magic Pass for great savings to these fun family experiences, as well as the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory, where you will be able to escape the chilly temperatures.
The Victorian Candy Land is open November 19 – December 24:
Thursdays & Fridays: 5pm - 8 pm
Saturdays & Sundays: noon - 8 pm
